The answer is B. B is much more likely to get that sale because it’s personable. It shows your potential customer that you do in fact use and love the product that you are selling. It is a very simple method that is less spammy and appears genuine, which often leads to more engagement and more sales.

How can I sell the solution?

 

Sometimes your products sell themselves. Sometimes no words are needed. However, when words are needed, don’t sell the product…sell the solution!

Create content that highlights the many uses of your products instead of highlighting the product. Let’s say that you want to create a video. Don’t create a video highlighting the product itself. Let’s say that you are a distributor for an essential oil company. Instead of showing the bottle of essential oil and talking about the product, you could do a video tutorial on how to create DIY Wool Dryer Balls with essential oils for fresh smelling clothes or create a tutorial on how to add essential oils to potpourri for a fresher smelling home. The ideas are endless. Think outside the box. 

Changing your thought pattern from “How can I sell?” to “How can I help?” makes all of the difference in the world. The more personal, honest and authentic you are, the more success you will see.
